Sending Domains
Emails are sent from our system using either our standard domains:
- smartsurveyuser.com
- smartsurveyuser.co.uk
- smartsurvey.co.uk
Or they are sent from a customer's verified domain, which could have any value.
Sending Servers
Emails sent by SmartSurvey itself that are not on behalf of a customer are usually sent from smartsurvey.co.uk and are sent via MailJet. These should have no deliverability issues.
Emails sent on behalf of customers for standard or custom domains are sent from one of our email servers, all of which are in the ssmx.net domain. These servers are all setup with static IP addresses assigned by a number of service providers and use reverse DNS to point the IP addresses to their domain names. These servers are currently:
- ms5.ssmx.net
- ms6.ssmx.net
- ms7.ssmx.net
- ms8.ssmx.net
- ms9.ssmx.net
- ms13.ssmx.net
- ms14.ssmx.net
- Others will be added over time
